Refunds, plainly.
Draft. This page is being reviewed by a lawyer and isn’t in force yet. Nothing here is a promise until the mark comes off. Questions in the meantime: hello@hitthreshold.com.
This is a template, not yet a policy. The founder fills in the numbers and a lawyer checks them against the law where Glint is sold. Nothing on this page is in force while the draft mark is on it.
1Your first charge
Founder: pick one shape and fill in the number.
- A no-questions refund if you ask within N days of your first Plus or Pro charge.
- Or: a refund within N days as long as you’ve used less than X% of that month’s ink.
- Or: refunds only for billing mistakes (see section 5).
Whichever shape is chosen, the Free plan exists so you can try Glint properly before paying.
2Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. Founder: do we email a reminder before yearly renewals, and how many days before? Are renewal charges refundable if you ask within N days and haven’t used the new month’s ink?
3Yearly plans
Cancelling a yearly plan stops the next renewal and keeps the plan running to the end of the year you paid for. Founder: refund the unused months pro rata if someone cancels early, or no refunds on yearly plans after the first-charge window?
4Refills and the student offer
Founder: are $5 refills refundable before any of their ink is used? Does the student discount follow the same rules as Plus?
5When something is our fault
If a billing mistake is ours — a double charge, a charge after you cancelled, a plan that never activated — we refund it in full as soon as you tell us. If Glint was down for a long stretch, founder: credit the lost days, or refund the month?
6How to ask
Email hello@hitthreshold.com from the address on your account and tell us the date of the charge. We answer by email. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
7Your legal rights
Nothing here reduces the rights you have under the law where you live. Lawyer: the EU/UK 14-day withdrawal right for digital services and whether consent at checkout is needed to start the service immediately; US state rules on auto-renewal notices and cancellation (California’s automatic renewal law among them); any refund disclosures required where Glint is sold.
